Doctor Ripley Volkovich – aka Doctor Rip

Genre: Post-apocalyptic zombie action with an edge of parody
Doctor Rip is a man struggling to survive in the zombie apocalypse, but he’s got a backpack of medical supplies and an armchair understanding of psychology, so he’s doing everything he can to push through and help those around him.
Rip’s look requires masc makeup contouring, filling in my eyebrows, accenting bags under my eyes to get that haven’t-slept-in-days look, and of course hand-painting in a beard. Most is done with eyeshadow and eyeliner, though the beard is a combination of those with an over layer of brown face paint applied with a little tiny brush. The white streak in the hair is specifically white stage makeup for hair. The SFX wound makeup was done with blush, red lipliner and black eyeliner, and a homemade corn syrup blood concoction for the bleeding parts.
And yes, I do have sword training, and yes, I shot videos swinging that katana. 😀
Total expected application time of hair, makeup, and costume: 2 to 3 hours, depending on if the beard behaves/how much SFX blood also needs to be applied
